About the Warrens Occult Museum:
Ed & Lorraine Warren were acclaimed paranormal investigators and authors associated with many prominent cases of hauntings. Throughout the Warrens investigative career, Ed & Lorraine collected various artifacts and relics that were attached to some form of demonic presence and hauntings. Those items are housed in the museum that they founded at their home in Monroe, CT in 1952. Today, Tony Spera, who worked with Ed & Lorraine for nearly 40 years, is head curator of the Warren Occult Museum. Tony is still actively investigating demonic activity, and is co-director of NESPR along with his wife, Judy Spera, the Warren's daughter. Stories of ghost hauntings popularized by the Warrens have been adapted as or have indirectly inspired dozens of films, television series, and documentaries, including several films in the Amityville Horror series and the films in The Conjuring Universe.

About the Annabelle Doll:
In 1970, a student nurse is given a Raggedy Ann doll as a gift, and she brings it home where she lives with a roommate. Almost immediately, the roommates noticed strange occurrences with the doll and they were introduced to a medium who told them the doll was inhabited by the spirit of a young girl named Annabelle. The two roommates tried to accept the doll’s spirit and please it, only to have it reciprocate maliciousness and violent intent. This is when Ed & Lorraine Warren were called and pronounced the doll demonically possessed. They removed the doll from the house and encased it in a glass box to contain the evil spirited entity. It has been part of the Warren’s collection ever since. The story of the doll served as inspiration for the Annabelle doll character depicted in The Conjuring Universe, as well as a film series that includes the following: Annabelle (2014), Annabelle: Creation (2017), and Annabelle Comes Home (2019).
